I never thought I could find such an abundance of rich culture hidden in Huntsville Texas. Carbonero Rotisserie Charbroiled Chicken & Steak, located on 11th Street in Huntsville, serves authentic cuisine inspired by the traditional foods of the owner's homeland, El Salvador. I enjoyed 1/4 rotisserie chicken, one pork puposa (thick handmade tortilla stuffed with cheese and meat of choice) served w pickled cabbage and salsa, and a side of yuca frita (deep fried cassava root).
I highly recommend searching for for Salvadorian food near you!
